In the late 1980s, when Vietnam began to innovate, I found a need for a managerial faculty in the Technical university for technical students to study not only techniques but also to aware of economic management in their operation and theirs work. Moreover, when management is in association with the technology, the management attribute of the SIM will be more superior than other management faculties.
School of Industrial Management – HCMC University of Technology had been established since 1990. It is contributing to the increasing demand in the field of training and research on management in Vietnam.
SIM commits to create intellectual value for society through the combination of knowledge creation activities (scientific research), knowledge transfer (training) and knowledge application (Consulting & Applications) in the field of management.
